The Eve

There is so much to be said that has not been said yet. And it will..eventually.

But on this eve of the celebration of Christ's birth, I am utterly astonished that God became man on our behalf, breathless upon realizing His humble and grave sacrifice and amazed that He is mine.

Imagine a child's first realization of the grandeur of this celebration. Maybe age four, five or six. I want to have the faith of that child. I want this Christmas, seemingly my first "adult Christmas," to be as joyous, as wonderful, as new. I want to be a child in awe of their Father's great love.

Oh, what a Happy Christmas it is!

1 John 4:9, "In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him."
